    The invasion of Kundon

Something that's been spiking my interest lately is the Galactic Congress and it's procedures and role in the galaxy. Something in particular that I've been wondering about is how the invasion of Kundon by the Jaquad was justified/approved in the Congress. It's not like the Kundonians were a minor player in the galaxy either as they're among the most influential members of the body, so how exactly did they pull it off in the Congress?

We've never been told why the invasion was done. Obviously they were looking for the boys and they had probably gotten word that they might be on Kundon, but that could hardly be the ONLY reason- and it definitely couldn't be the "official" reason for the invasion. So what then?

    Re: The invasion of Kundon

It's because the Jaquadi leader, by the name of Jorge Bucht and his second in command Deek Chanee, said they had weapons of mass destruction, or was it supporting terrorism, wait no I think it was to liberate them from their oppressive government, oh no I think I heard that it was because they had large deposites of oil carbodroxylite on their planet. Then they lied to someone of great honor and integrity who never in his wildest dreams would believe that the government he served would start an illegal war for nothing go to the Galactic Congress and make their case for them - a one General Kolan Powll. Knowing full well that many of the people there would believe anything he told them because they had worked with him in the past and knew he would rather jump on a live grenade to save a basket of puppies rather then lie to them.

    Does that answer your question?

    Yes it does.

Too bad it's not the right answer. In more ways than one when you think about it.
